Message I understand. its not hard to pull the crank out with the pistons/rods still installed in the block and replace all the bearings. I've done it several times and even for members on this forum. You can even check housing bore with the crank out and double check your oil clearances as well. And for the record....it is not suggested to do a dry mag check on a crankshaft (though is doable but not precise enough). The only way to legitimately check for cracks in a crankshaft is by doing a zyglow/magnaflux. I use that same system of checking for connecting rods as well. The benefit of doing that wet style of magnufluxing is that the solution in which you apply to the part soaks into the cracks in the crank and under a black light will show every detail that the naked eye just can't see. its quite important to get that done
